The ConsultPro rollout was structured as two hospitals per week. By week six, all 12 hospitals were live on a unified billing platform with standardized rate cards, identical approval workflows, and a single source of truth for consultant payouts. Quarterly close shrunk from 3 weeks to 4 days.
The CFO now opens a real-time dashboard showing consultant cost per hospital, per specialty, and per service category — comparable across the chain for the first time. The finance team was rationalized by 40% as manual consolidation work disappeared; the remaining team focused on analysis instead of data entry.
